DEALER NETWORK PRIVACY NOTICE

Private information stays limited to the dealer file.

What IMC collects

IMC collects the business and contact information supplied in a dealership application, account sign-in information, dealer submissions, commercial terms, status updates, secure file attachments and communications needed to manage the network.

Referred buyer information

When a dealership submits a qualified buyer opportunity, IMC may receive the buyer’s contact details, vehicle criteria, budget and purchase preference. The dealership must have permission to provide that information. IMC uses it only to qualify and coordinate that specific opportunity.

Limited disclosure

Dealer, buyer and counterparty identities remain restricted until the appropriate acceptance and introduction stage. IMC does not publish private files or sell personal information.

Sensitive information

Do not submit SINs, banking credentials, credit reports, credit applications, lender documents or identity documents through the general forms or document area. A selected dealership’s F&I team handles financing information directly under its own practices.

Safeguards and retention

IMC limits access to authorized participants who need the information to manage the file and keeps records only as long as reasonably needed for operations, commercial records and applicable obligations.

Access, correction and deletion

To ask about information connected to a dealer account or IMC file, email sales@imcmotors.ca and include the reference number when available.
